In her private practice, Staci specializes in disordered eating, weight loss and weight gain, and pediatrics with a focus on feeding and weight issues. Staci's practice is based on the belief that how and what we feed ourselves affects our mind, body, and spirit everyday. Because nutrition and exercise are such great partners, Staci became a certified personal trainer in college and has maintained her certification since 1990. Staci enjoys designing exercise programs that help people improve their daily lives and has experience and training in Pilates. She enjoys helping people learn how to incorporate this effective and very functional form of exercise into their lives.
Services:
Initial Nutrition and/or Exercise Consultation: Staci will talk with you about your health history, past experiences with eating and exercise, and goals for the future. Then, working together, we will develop a plan to help you reach your goals. Staci believes in small steps that build on each other and are realistic for her clients. Staci also believes in the wisdom of her clients and promises not to "dictate" change. Staci does not sell any supplements, special foods, or special drinks. She may recommend products if she thinks a product may help you reach your goal, but you are free to purchase the produce anywhere you would like.
Follow-up Consultations: We will talk about how your "steps to success" are or are not working and develop new steps as needed. Many clients find the follow-up sessions the most important part of their nutrition therapy or exercise program because this is where the real "problem solvin and high-fivin" happens.
Cost: $75.00 for initial session, $40.00 for follow-up sessions
Package Deals: 5 sessions for $175.00, 10 for $250.00. Package deals do not include the initial session and are non-refundable.
Insurance: Healthy Balance, Inc. does not bill insurance. If you think your insurance covers nutrition therapy, Staci can provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement to you. Nutrition therapy may also be an eligible expense for many pre-tax medical spending plans.
