Sport Injury and Return to Activity

No matter the age or sport of the athlete, sustaining an injury limits performance and/or participation in the chosen activity. While some injuries are sudden, many occur over time due to repetitive use, tissue break down and chronic inflammation. The demands of the sport can become too much for the athlete to manage on their own. At Bird Physical Therapy we understand the frustration with your injury and the desire to return to your sport. A comprehensive approach regarding strength, joint support, mechanics and tissue reactivity allows us to help you feel better and get “back in the game”. We also will provide education on prevention and strategies to maintain health to avoid pain with future participation.
