I was skeptical at first when my general physician recommended physical therapy. I have been very impressed with the level of attention that I have received by everyone on staff. I have been completely satisfied with the care I have received. I’m also happy to be virtually pain free for the first time in 4 years. I’m now a believer in Physical Therapy.

This has made a huge difference for me.

I’ve become much more aware of how to better do things so I can avoid injury and get well. I realize how responsible I must be to maintain my wellness.

I never thought I’d look forward to working out. It has been such a pleasant experience; I want to now “get in shape”. I came in with lots of stress and shoulder pain and I leave with feeling so much healthier and better.  Shoulders are much more relaxed and NO PAIN!

I was worried I would be out for the rest of the season, but after a few treatments and doing my exercises at home, I was able to return to my team without pain.

I noticed I felt comfortable the minute I walked into Bird Physical Therapy. Beginning with Cindy, the receptionist’s, warm greeting my time there was positive. I felt listened to by Kevin Bird and appreciate his focus on healing my injury as well pointing me in the direction of strengthening my body so I can stay active. He also explained the purpose of each therapy. Bird Physical Therapy is a quiet atmosphere which makes healing easier. A breath of fresh air.

I frequently stand during my workday, but during the Holiday season I stand for about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.  This past Holiday season it occurred to me that I was feeling better than I had felt in probably 15 to 20 years!  I’m in my 50s and my back didn’t hurt, my hips didn’t hurt, my legs, knees and feet did not hurt!  It was pretty amazing, and I give all the credit to my orthotics.  This summer Kevin fit me for specially made shoe inserts, and they have been worth every single penny.  Thank you, Kevin, for your expertise and great advice.
